Citizen Participation: Diagrams and Directives was a practical exhibition and invited collectives to consider the aesthetic and political forms of their internal organization and critically investigate citizen control, delegated power, partnership, placation, consultation, informing, therapy, and manipulation (the eight rungs on Arnstein’s “ladder”) through projects and pieces including participatory artworks, installation, performance, and video.
Culture Push staff invited anyone who wished to join us on 3 self-guided walks, asking participants to explore 'how to be in place' using a lense from a series of prompts.
Walks will be:
Sunday May 13: 2pm & 4 pm walks
Sunday May 20: 4 pm walks
OTHER PARTICIPATING COLLECTIVES:
Social Arts Practices Network (SPAN)
